As a contracts specialist in the aircraft leasing and satellite industries, Ms. Nesheiwat provides over 25 years of experience in the corporate arena. After graduating from University of Bridgeport and Mercy College, Ms. Nesheiwat continued her career in the legal industry as a paralegal and has extensive international business exposure while working overseas in the Middle East for over a decade.
Ms. Tang joined VAH in December 2021 as a Senior Accountant. Prior to joining VAH, Ms. Tang has experience in auditing, corporate accounting, finance, and financial reporting with a variety of roles in public and private companies. Ms. Tang obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Queens College and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. Ms. Tang is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mr. Streun brings over 30 years of broad experience in the aviation industry working at aircraft lessors and an aircraft manufacturer. Mr. Streun joined Boeing Commercial Airplanes in 1989 as a Production Liaison Engineer, followed by roles as a Customer Support Field Service Representative (in Japan, China, Malaysia), an Engineering Project Manager, and a Services Sales Director. He also gained industry experience as an Engineering Manager with AWAS for (3) years during an interlude from Boeing. In 2018, Mr. Streun joined Boeing Capital Corporation as a Portfolio Marketing Director in Asset Management with primary responsibilities to include the management and disposition of owned and managed aircraft assets. He then joined AerSale as SVP of Technical Services early 2020 with prime responsibility for the sales, marketing and product delivery of in-house developed Engineered Solutions. Mr. Streun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
Prior to joining Voyager, Mr. Dempsey spent two years as part of the finance team with AMCK Aviation. Before AMCK, Mr. Dempsey completed his training as a chartered accountant (ACA) with KPMG. Mr. Dempsey spent four and a half years working with a broad range of aircraft leasing clients. While at KPMG, he also qualified as a chartered tax advisor with the Irish Tax Institute. Mr. Dempsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina.
Mr. Ginez has 11 years of experience in aviation, transportation, and asset finance. Prior to his current role at VAH, Mr. Ginez held several other Finance positions with VAH and its affiliated companies. Mr. Ginez began his career as an investment banker at Wells Fargo Securities, where he focused on capital raising and M&A transactions for transportation and infrastructure companies, primarily shipping and maritime oil & gas assets. Mr. Ginez holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College.
Mr. Padmaperuma brings over 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry to the role of Head of Technical, including in aircraft leasing and financing, airline engineering and maintenance management and MRO management, transition management, fleet planning, acquisition, and disposition of aircraft. Mr. Padmaperuma comes to Voyager having served in senior leadership positions with Lufthansa Technic in their operations in Ireland and in The Philippines, and with SriLankan Airlines, where he was Chief Technical Officer. With aircraft lessors, he has worked at ICBC International Leasing, FPG Amentum Limited, and MCAP, where he held dual roles in Marketing and Technical. Mr. Padmaperuma holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Ms. Benalcazar currently serves as an Operations Analyst in Stamford and has over 7 years of experience with the company. Prior to joining VAH, Ms. Benalcazar spent over 15 years as Portfolio Analyst and Credit Administrator at RBS, UBS, and GE Capital. Mrs. Benalcazar graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration & Management from Western Connecticut State University and has worked in various roles during her career with a present focus on commercial credit and risk analysis.
Hooman Yazhari is VAH’s acting Executive Chairman of the Board of Managers. Mr. Yazhari has over 20 years of experience in the aviation and aviation finance industries and has served as a member of our Board of Managers since 2017. Among other roles, Mr Yazhari serves as the Chairman of Mobility Capital, an impact aligned finance platform deploying non equity capital to the next generation of sustainable transportation. He is also CEO of Kiverdi, a carbon negative producer of essential carbon based compounds. Previously, he served in board and executive positions at lessors including CEO of Waypoint Leasing, and General Counsel of International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), as well as some of the leasing industry’s major customers. Mr. Yazhari holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Oxford and graduated from the London school of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with an LLM in corporate and commercial law.
Mr. Hunt has over 9 years of finance experience, 6 of which have been in aviation financing and leasing, and has mostly focused on financial reporting and financial modelling. Prior to joining VAH, Mr. Hunt held the position of AVP Finance in AMCK Aviation Holdings, and before that he held the position of Financial Accountant in Aergen Aviation Finance Limited. Mr. Hunt completed his training as a chartered accountant with KPMG and also holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from University College Dublin.
Ms. Reys has 15 years’ experience in the aircraft leasing business, starting her career with Pembroke Aviation in 2004. Standard Chartered Bank acquired Pembroke Capital Limited in 2007. During her tenure with Pembroke/Standard Chartered, Ms. Reys lead and managed finance transformation projects. In 2016, Ms. Reys joined GTLK Europe as Finance Lead and CFO, helping to built and manage the fleet of 50+ aircraft and marine vessels. Prior to joining VAH, Ms. Reys led many aviation leasing projects as a principal consultant and finance lead, supporting a start-up leasing platform. Ms. Reys is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA/CGMA) and holds an engineering degree and Masters in IT.
Mr. Abraham serves as Commercial Manager at VAH. Prior to joining Voyager, Mr. Abraham worked as a Commercial Analyst with Chorus Aviation Capital for 3 years, across a broad spectrum of functions like Pricing, Capital Markets and Credit Risk. Mr. Abraham holds a Master of Science degree in Aviation Finance from University College Dublin and a Master of Science degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University. Mr. Abraham obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering from Hindustan University.
Ms. McCarthy is the General Counsel of VAH. Ms. McCarthy brings 15 years of experience in aviation financing and leasing. Most recently, Ms. McCarthy was with the law firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in New York working on aircraft finance matters. Prior to her role at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, Ms. McCarthy served as the General Counsel of Global Jet Capital, Inc. with an expansive focus on international aircraft leasing transactions. She began her aviation career as Senior Counsel for the Corporate Aircraft division at GE Capital with a focus primarily on domestic aircraft financing. Ms. McCarthy holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from Georgetown University. Ms. McCarthy is married and has three children.
Mr. Pawlowski has over 15 years of aviation experience as an appraiser, aviation consultant and in aircraft finance roles. Prior to joining Voyager, Mr. Pawlowski was previously with AMCK Aviation where he was Vice President Risk. Prior to this Mr. Pawlowski worked as Senior Analyst for Ascend by Cirium, where he worked in Ascend’s London, New York and Hong Kong offices. Mr. Pawlowski received his Master’s degree in Economics from University of Freiburg, Germany.
Mr. Smith joined Voyager in 2022 and has over 8 years asset finance and aircraft leasing experience. Mr. Smith worked in practice as an associate with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman LLP in New York, and subsequently served as transaction counsel for FPG Amentum Limited in Dublin. Mr. Smith holds BA and JD degrees from Columbia University, and has an LLM from Trinity College, Dublin. Mr. Smith is a member of the New York State Bar and has been admitted to practice as a solicitor in Ireland.
Mrs. Wang is an experienced marketing professional with a track record in business development, marketing and sales including 10 plus years in aircraft leasing. Her expertise includes public relations, marketing support and business strategy. She is skilled in negotiating and facilitating strategic business alliances involving cross-cultural groups and joint marketing programs. Mrs. Wang holds a Master of Science in Communication and Media from George Mason university, she graduated from Beijing International Studies University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Ms. Miller has almost 20 years of experience in aviation, having worked for an OEM, an MRO, as well as an engine lessor. Ms. Miller joined VAH in 2015 from Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance, a Rolls-Royce / GATX JV where she was Marketing Director the European region for six years. Prior to this role, she spent seven years in various roles including Business Development in Rolls-Royce Singapore and Rolls-Royce Bangkok. Ms. Miller holds a Master of Science from the University of Staffordshire and a Bachelor degree in Business Studies from the University of Northumbria.
Ms. Corcoran joined the Voyager Dublin Team in January 2022 and is new to Aviation. Ms. Corcoran comes with a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry having previously worked for over 12 years in various hotels and as a PA & Office Manager for a quickly expanding European property management group. Ms. Corcoran holds a degree in Multimedia from DCU, a degree in Digital Marketing from DBS and a certificate in HR management from TUS.
Mr. Ewing is Chief Financial Officer of VAH. He has over 15 years of aviation, transportation, and broader financial services experience. Mr. Ewing was previously a Managing Director in the Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank for over 11 years. He worked with a wide variety of clients and executed numerous transactions for leasing companies across aviation and other transport sectors. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was a Vice President at Citi working in Financial Services Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Ewing holds a M.B.A. from The Wharton School and he holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago. He is married with three children and has lived and studied in London and Singapore.
Ms. Sinead O’Donnell is Head of Ireland Reporting. She has over 14 years of accounting, tax, financial reporting and due diligence experience, 7 of which are focused in aviation financing and leasing. Prior to joining Voyager, Ms. O’Donnell was VP, Head of Finance in AMCK Aviation Holdings and before that she held the position of Financial Controller in Sky Leasing. Ms. O’Donnell completed her training as an accountant with PwC. She is an FCA and Chartered Tax Consultant and also holds a Bachelor of Corporate Law from National University of Ireland, Galway.
Mr. King has over 34 years of extensive and wide-ranging experience in aviation, working within the aircraft leasing, airline, MRO and military fields. Most recently, Mr. King was Vice President, Technical with GECAS for 8+ years from 2013, supporting lease negotiations, marketing support and aircraft transitions for a fleet of approximately 650 owned and managed aircraft within the US region. Mr. King started his aviation career in the Royal New Zealand Airforce as an Avionics Technician, maintaining military cargo and jet fighter aircraft and Naval helicopters whilst deployed to various Squadrons. After almost 10 years of service, he left to pursue opportunities at various maintenance facilities in Europe and the US as a consultant engineer while completing an engineering degree full time. Upon graduating in 2004, Mr. King worked at JetBlue Airways as an Avionics Engineer for approximately 9 years supporting line operations as well as managing various projects including NextGen initiatives at the airline. Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace Concentrations from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, formerly Polytechnic University.
